People who choose our services may have concerns and frustrations like these:

▷ Unresolved symptoms (pain/spasm) from injuries that come and go
▷ Not knowing how far the finish line is
▷ Being tired of listening to what not to do instead of what they can do
▷ Treatment sessions are so time-constrained that they are always rushed; concerns and questions remain unanswered
Prana Physiotherapy is now offering telehealth services.
Lately, I have been in touch with a lot of my clients over the phone.
I am overwhelmed with the positive feedback I have received from simple guidance, advice and exercises videos I could offer to my patients in the last few days since the lock down.
People who have been to my practice know that our moto at prana physiotherapy has been “liberating instead of limiting”. Therefore, we have decided to rise to this occasion where many people may be in need due to the added pressure on primary health care services (e.g. GP practices) and need immediate attention and advise to manage their musculoskeletal injuries and advise.
Telehealth is defined as a consultation taking place using communication technology to deliver services from a distance. Telehealth used to reach places in remote areas.
Some facts about telehealth:
Its not a new service, in United Kingdom telehealth is widely used across the National health system and the private sector including physiotherapy services and UK manages 40 % of the cases with a favorable outcome. Triage cases by ruling out red flags and assessing suitability of either self-help or referral to clinical based appointments.
The key to good recovery is to fully understand the symptomology and condition behavior, current evidence suggests that good advice and guidance is the key to a good recovery.
