Who is it for?
These appointments are for busy people who need urgent Musculoskeletal diagnosis, pain relief/injury management. Usually priority services are for those individuals who find it hard to fit in treatment sessions due to work/family commitments during normal working hours. We have on call physiotherapists who can attend to your injury in early hours from 6:00am to 9:00am onwards and after work hours from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. All appointments need to be confirmed through our hotline or through our website and paid in full.
Do I need a pre-existing ACC form or do I need to see my GP to get an ACC form before I attend? You don’t need to have a pre-existing ACC and you don’t need to see your GP for injury claims. We can make new ACC claims for you or see you under your current ACC claims. We can also see you privately if your injury is not covered by ACC.
What if I need and Xray, ultrasound or specialist referral?Once you have done an initial assessment, we are able to send you for imaging ourselves. We also have good connection with specialists around the area and can directly refer you to a specialist when required.
Injuries that are covered under priority service:
- Acute/persistent lower back pain
- Neck and Shoulder injury due to trauma or ongoing
- Lower limb injury – (ankle, knee, hip due to sports/ongoing)
*For serious medical conditions and trauma please seek medical services from urgent care or emergency department or call 111*
